The Layout and Location

Hill House, designed by architect Frank Lapointe, was created as the ultimate couple’s retreat. Perched on a hill, the house overlooks the town of Trinity, Fisher Cove and Trinity Harbour.  With breathtaking views of the sea all around and exquisite light throughout the day, this peaceful setting provides a tranquil contrast to everyday routine.  Relax, breathe the fresh air, stroll the hills and meadows or explore the town….whatever is your choice.

While the house is spacious it is truly designed as a retreat for 2 people, there is a pull out couch on the main floor. Please be aware that the main floor the kitchen, sitting area and tv den are all in one large space and the bedroom on the second story is access by a staircase, but is still incorporated into the open concept. There is a private bathroom on each floor

The house offers both views of sunrise and sunset.

One of the great advantages of an Artisan Inn Vacation Home is that the inn’s staff are on hand to provide assistance to guests with self-catering homes. If the wi-fi is down, you cannot operate the TV, if you experience a plumbing issue or if you just need directions to the nearest grocery store, just let us know.

Breakfast and daily turndown services are not included with vacation home rentals.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

Guests must check in at the Artisan Inn’s office located on the second floor of the Twine Loft, from there, they will be taken to their vacation home by a staff member.

Check In: 4pm You may check in earlier if the property is ready.  If you wish to check in after 6pm please notify the office ahead of time.
Check Out Time: 10:30am

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATIONS

CLEANING FEE:  $50 cleaning fee

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: This house sleeps a maximum of 4 Guests, If you would like to entertain additional guests in the house above 4 extra people, please advise the Artisan Inn. There is a maximum of 7 guests permitted in the house at the same time. Our houses may not be used for parties or weddings.

RENTAL POLICIES: Pets, Smoking, the Cooking of Shellfish, Parties and Wedding Related Events are not permitted

-When is the highest rate advertised typically charged? Early/mid July – Mid- late August
-When does length of stay impact the rate?

• During May & October enjoy our best rates for any stay 2 nights or longer. One night stays are sometimes permitted, however a rate higher than what is advertised on the booking system will be applied.
• Early/mid July – Mid- late August bookings of 5 nights or longer have discounts applied.
• During other times of the season discount rates apply for stays 4 nights or longer.
