Nathaniel House is a mid 19th century home (c. 1862) that has undergone extensive renovations, yet still retains its original Newfoundland character. Originally owned by Nathaniel Morris or “Gentleman Nat” as he was referred to, this two-and-a-half-story dwelling, constructed from local fir, now welcomes visitors from around the world. Located in the heart of Historic Trinity, Nathaniel House offers up a peaceful retreat while exploring Newfoundland’s Bonavista Peninsula.

The first floor has a sitting room with TV, a separate kitchen/dining area and a back deck with BBQ. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with king bed). This floor also has a full washroom. The top floor has a bedroom with queen bed and large ensuite bathroom. Nathaniel House is located one minute by foot from the Twine Loft.

One of the great advantages of an Artisan Inn Vacation Home is that the inn’s staff are on hand to provide assistance to guests with self-catering homes. If the wi-fi is down, you cannot operate the TV, if you experience a plumbing issue or if you just need directions to the nearest grocery store, assistance will be provided to you.

Check In: 4pm You may check in earlier if the property is ready.  If you wish to check in after 6pm please notify the office ahead of time. Check in is located on the 2nd floor of the Twine Loft (red building by the water).

Check Out Time: 10:30am This allows our staff the necessary time to turn over the property for the next stay. If you would like a later check out, please notify us during your stay and we can confirm the day prior if it is possible.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: This house can sleep 1-8 guests. Depending on the date you have booked, the rate may be based on the number of guests you have selected, so please ensure that number is accurate.  If you are part of a group renting multiple properties in Trinity, please note that a maximum of 10 people can be in the property at one time, unless permission has been granted by Artisan Inn.  If we see that this rule is not being respected you may be asked to leave prior to your reservation being over or incur an additional charge should damage occur or extra cleaning be required.
