The Twine Loft is recommended by “Where to Eat in Canada”.  Most guests of the Artisan Inn book their tables when reserving their accommodations, sometimes a year in advance of their arrival.  If you would like the Twine Loft to be part of your Trinity experience, we recommend you make your reservation as soon as possible.  A reservation request form is available in our booking section.

THE TWINE LOFT

The Twine Loft is the main building and dining room for the Artisan Inn, built directly over the water.  While the Twine Loft is not a bar, a Happy Hour service is available to the public from 3-5pm daily.  Guest can choose between drinking on the waterside deck during nicer days (blankets are available for chillier one’s) or in the upstairs loft above the dining room.  During Happy Hour special pricing is offered on many of our drinks including wines by the glass, locally made beers and mixed drinks.

Reservations Required:
Dining is by reservation, however, we can sometimes take last-minute reservations, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

BAR SERVICE ONLY DATES: In 2024 the Twine Loft is serving dinner 6 nights a week.  Due to being only slightly short staffed to cover all evening cooking shifts, we have determined it is in the interest of our guests and our team to limit operations slightly with our fantastic staff, versus bringing in a part time employee who lacks the experience to deliver the experience we strive for. We are a tourist town and there is little difference between weekend and weekday volume for us, so we have set the no dinner dates with the tourists in mind, aiming for days additional dining options like Dinner Theatre at Rising Tide are taking place and the majority of restaurants in the area are open.

Drink Service

The chart below are dates we are operating for bar service inside the Twine Loft and on the deck.  On other dates, bar service is not available inside, with the exception of guests with dinner reservations arriving 15-30 minutes to for their sit in dinner.

On days with a 7pm sitting the deck is open for drink service from 5-7pm to the public.

On days that start with a 5:15 sitting the deck is open from 3-5pm to the public (until 5:15 for guests with 5:15 dinner reservations) Some days we may have extra staff on and will advertise on the day of if we plan to keep the deck open until 8pm.  You can call on the day of to confirm if the deck will be open past 5pm. There is no indoor space to drink if you do not have an indoor table reserved for dinner.

DRINK SERVICE ONLY DAYS: On these days we do not offer an evening meal service. These dates are listed in red and grey in the request calendar.  On these days both floors of the Twine Loft are open from drink service from 3pm-8pm as well as the deck.
