Recently filmed in the Trinity area were the films, Random Passage and The Shipping News.

In New Bonaventure, Trinity Bay, Cape Random was constructed in 2000 for the filming of the international TV mini-series "Random Passage". The site offers visitors the opportunity to imagine the life of our forebearers in a typical fishing community in the early 1800’s.
