THE TWINE LOFT
The Twine Loft is part of the Artisan Inn and it is on premises once owned by Captain Stanly Barbour. It was here that Captain Barbour had his fishing room used to store gear for the fishery.
The first floor of the Twine Loft has the kitchen and dining room used for breakfast and evening meals, while a comfortable lounging area and the main office for check-in and check out are on the second floor.
Guests and visitors alike may also come to enjoy the large wrap-around deck built directly over the water.

THE DINING ROOM
The Dining room is located on the first floor of the Twine Loft and offers an intimate dining experience, seating roughly 20-25 people per sitting. Tables may be fully booked, especially in the high season, so reserving a table ahead of time is recommended. Guests are offered two great views as they enjoy their candle lit dinner. One is that of the window view of the sun setting over the waters of Fisher’s Cove and the other is that of the chef skillfully preparing each course in the open kitchen. A pre-theatre dinner is offered at 5:30pm and a late evening sitting at 7:45pm.
The Twine Loft deck is licensed for liquor service and is the only place in the area where one can sit directly over the water and enjoy a drink of choice or a a cheese plate. On chillier days warm blankets are offered, by staff, to visitors. This is without a doubt one of the best places in Trinity to watch the water and sky turn pink to purple as the sun sets over the hills and the harbour.
Located on the second floor, The Loft is open to guests from 8:30am until the end of the 7:45 dinner sitting. Guests may enjoy any type of beverage and relax by reading one of the many books and publications available. Complimentary wireless internet is available for visitors who wish to bring their laptops and ipads. During the evening this is the ideal place for diners to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink. Under special circumstances the space can be reserved as a dining space for larger parties of 8-12 people.
