Dine at the Twine Loft Restaurant
Dine by candlelight in a restored shed once used to repair fishermen’s nets. The Twine Loft restaurant is recommended by Where to Eat in Canada and Lonely Planet. Advanced reservations are required for the month of October.
Admire the Architecture of Trinity
Walk the white picket-fence lined streets of Trinity during a time of year with fantastic light and take in the stunning architecture of clapboard saltbox houses. If you are interested in seeing some of the historic sites after they have been closed for the season, let us know and we can do our best to arrange for a private tour of the municipal sites. Even late into October, you will find the doors of the Green Family Forge open on weekdays when the two trained blacksmiths are preparing orders for the Christmas season.
Enjoy our properties and take time to do nothing
The Bonavista Peninsula is a stunning destination. One of the most common complaints we hear upon check out is that guests forgot to schedule the time to do nothing. When planning your schedule, remember that you may find yourself wanting to sit on a rock and simply stare out at the vast landscape or ocean for hours and take in the peace and calm that rural Newfoundland has to offer. Even on days of cooler weather, curling up with a book in one of our historic properties can do wonders for the soul.
Star Gaze with a blanket on the deck
There is very little light pollution in the outport community of Trinity. If you happen to be staying with us on a clear night, make a cup of hot chocolate, grab one of our cozy blankets and admire the Milky Way and the constellations of the Northern Hemisphere.

Why does the full amount need to be paid up front?
Operating the dining room for both breakfast and dinner in October can be unpredicatble and costly because of a lower volume of visitors. If dinner is pre-booked and paid for with a package, we will guarantee meal service, even if it is just for 2 people. If you do not pre-book the meals with the package, we cannot guarantee that the dining room will operate on nights you are staying with us. Please be advised that there are limited places open for evening dining on the Bonavista Peninsula after Thanksgiving Weekend.
