Margaret Ryall resides in St. John’s but usually spends July and August in Duntara, Bonavista Bay, where she has a summer studio and home. Her art training has been through part time study while working as an educator. Since 2001, Margaret has been a full time artist who continues to pursue a personal course of study in art. Her work in monotype, pastel, acrylic and mixed media is in private collections provincially, nationally and internationally. She has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions and in 2004 held her first solo exhibition, "Transitions". Margaret was recently elected for a second term to the Board of Directors of Visual Artists Newfoundland and Labrador and serves as Co-chair of the organization.
